Every calculator on Know the Figures performs arithmetic on figures you supply. The results are estimates for planning purposes. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, accounting, tax or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any financial product, instrument or investment.

We are not a regulated firm and do not provide personalised recommendations. Before acting on any figure produced here, check it with an accountant or adviser who knows your circumstances.

Privacy

The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are never transmitted to us, never stored, and never logged. There is no account to create.

If you choose to give us an email address, it is used to send you the result you asked for and the weekly email, and nothing else. You can unsubscribe from any message. Your theme preference is kept in your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device.

Advertising and partner links

Some links to software may be partner links that earn us a commission at no cost to you. We link only to software — accounting, invoicing, payroll, bookkeeping and similar tools.

We accept no payment from brokers, proprietary trading firms, crypto exchanges, banks, money transfer providers, or any other company that holds or moves your money. Advertising categories covering trading, forex, CFDs and crypto are blocked across every network we use.

Accuracy

The formulas are documented on each calculator’s page so you can check them. Mistakes are possible; if you find one, it will be corrected and the correction noted. The site is provided as-is, without warranty, and we accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of these estimates.
